The Centre for Defence and Security provides strategic analysis of defence challenges and security threats in the Horn of Africa, including conventional and asymmetric conflict dynamics and emerging non-state threats such as armed groups and the proliferation of drones. Through its research, programmes, and the annual Horn of Africa Security Dialogue, it generates policy-relevant insights for governments and security practitioners.
