Brig Gen (Rtd) Ahamed Mohammed, a HORN Academy expert, Gen Daniel Opande, former Force Commander of the United Nations Peacekeeping Missions in Sierra Leone and Liberia; Ms. Lydia Wanyoto-Mutende, former Deputy Special Representative of the Chairman of the African Union Commission to the African Union Mission to Somalia (AMISOM); and Gen. Martin Luther Agwai, former Chief of Defence Staff, Nigeria Armed Forces and former Force Commander of the African Union-United Nations Hybrid Mission in Darfur were the lead facilitators at the Senior Mission Leaders Course held at the International Peacekeeping Training Center (Kenya) from October 7-18, 2019.
