The Institute was invited to attend and participate in the Military Strategic Study Group (MSSG) meeting held at Addis Ababa between July 1 and July 5, 2019. The Military Strategic Study Group is made up of military experts who advise the African Union (AU) on policy issues, and particularly in the area of peace and security. This was the second meeting since the inception of the Group. A representative from the HORN Institute Academy attended the meeting.
