Lenga Ugaidi na Talanta is keen on engaging youth below the age of 35 years in the identified countries in the Horn of Africa region. The youth are at a vantage point to promote a culture of forbearance and tolerance in their immediate environment and amongst peers concerning terrorism and violent extremism. They possess huge potential to sustainably engage and work together to end youth radicalization and recruitment into violent extremism. This project means that the youth will not only participate in the actual production of counter-radicalization and recruitment narratives but also exit with valuable skills and enhanced talent through context-specific training.

Season 5 of the Lenga Ugaidi na Talanta Competition will be launched on September 16, 2021.
