Brig Gen (Rtd) Ahamed Mohammed, an expert of the HORN Academy, was invited as a keynote speaker in a symposium entitled Countering Violent Extremism, Strategies and Approaches. The symposium was organized by the Africa Center for Strategic Studies on July 12, 2019. The core objective was to assess the current CVE strategies and approaches as well as propose ways of improving them.
